According to the National Dengue Control Unit, more than 30,000 dengue cases have been reported this year.

The unit points out that 12 dengue deaths have occurred during that period.

During the year, 30,227 dengue cases have been reported all over the island.

The highest number of patients have been reported from Colombo district and the number is 6,965.

The National Dengue Control Unit stated that 3,126 cases have been reported from Gampaha district, 3,998 cases from Jaffna district and 2,441 cases from Kandy district.

21 Health Medical Officer Jurisdictions across the island have been identified as Dengue High Risk Zones.

මේ වසරේ ගත වූ කාලසීමාව තුළ ඩෙංගු රෝගීන් 30,000කට වැඩි පිරිසක් වාර්තා වී ඇති බව ජාතික ඩෙංගු මර්දන ඒකකය පවසයි.

එම කාලය තුළ ඩෙංගු මරණ 12ක් සිදුව ඇති බව එම ඒකකය පෙන්වාදෙයි.

ඉන් වැඩිම රෝගීන් සංඛ්‍යාවක් කොළඹ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් වාර්තා වී ඇති අතර එම සංඛ්‍යාව 6,965කි.

ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් රෝගීන් 3,126 දෙනෙකු වාර්තා වී ඇති අතර යාපනය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් 3,998 දෙනෙකු සහ මහනුවර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් රෝගීන් 2,441 දෙනෙකු වාර්තා වී ඇති බව ජාතික ඩෙංගු මර්දන ඒකකය සඳහන් කළේය.

දිවයින පුරා සෞඛ්‍ය වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරී බල ප්‍රදේශ 21ක් ඩෙංගු අධි අවදානම් කලාප ලෙස හඳුනාගෙන තිබේ.
