Qualifications:

(a) Should possess a B.Sc. Engineering degree from a recognized University/Higher Educational Institution (HEI) specializing in Civil Engineering OR Should possess a B.Sc. Engineering degree from a recognized University/HEI specializing in Quantity Surveying OR Equivalent professional qualifications recognized by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL)

(b) Possess a corporate membership from a recognized Engineering Institute. OR Possess a corporate membership from a recognized Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

(c) A minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant experience in construction projects, handling contracts as well as in managing direct labour.

Salary Scale:

Rs. 113,690-8x2,400; 8x2,940-156,410 p.m. (as at 01.01.2025) [U-EX 2(II)] ** 

GENERAL NOTES:

** In addition to the salary, the cost of living allowance and other approved allowances will be paid to the selected candidate.

# Salary and Monthly Compensation Allowance (MCA) will be paid according to the Commission Circular No. 02/2025 dated 01.04.2025.

# Age limit will not apply. The compulsory retirement age of employees of the University service is sixty years.
