POST OF AIRCRAFT INERIOR SERVICE ASSISTANT 

Job Scope :

The Aircraft Interior Services Assistant is responsible for the effective supervision and management of staff engaged in aircraft interior cleaning operations. The role ensures that all cleaning activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with airline and company standards. This position acts as a key point of coordination between the cleaning team, cabin crew, and ramp staff, and oversees the management of cleaning chemical inventory to support uninterrupted service delivery. 

Key Responsibilities :

i Supervise and coordinate all aircraft interior cleaning activities, ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

ii Assign daily tasks to cleaning staff and monitor performance to ensure timely and thorough completion of duties.

iii Liaise with cabin crew to understand and fulfill specific cleaning requirements and address any operational concerns.

iv Coordinate with ramp staff and ground operations teams to align cleaning schedules with aircraft movements and turnaround times.

v Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning materials

vi Maintain accurate operational records, including staff attendance, shift reports, and incident documentation.

vii Report operational issues promptly and assist in implementing corrective actions to maintain service standards.

viii Foster a positive, team-oriented working environment focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

ix Ensure that the execution of all assigned job tasks is performed in a manner which safeguards organizational information assets and maintain compliance with the AASL Standards and Procedures.

x In addition to the above key responsibilities of the Ground Support Equipment Operator, responsible to attend any other relevant responsibilities assign by supervisory officers.

1. Qualification : i Should have Passed 06 subjects in the GCE (O/L) Examination or equivalent examination approved by the Department of Education.

2. Experience : ii Should possess a minimum of 03 years experience in Aircraft interior cleaning or a related Aviation Ground Service role.

iii Experience in a team leadership in relevant field will be preferred.

3. Age : Age should be below 45 years at the closing date of applications.
