About Us

Kodigahawewa Forest Resort is built in 35 acres of forestry land in Tissamaharama, 8 km from Tissamaharama town to Katharagama Road, adjoined by the Lunugamwehera forest. The hotel is closer to Yala National Park, Kumana Bird Sanctuary, Bundala National Park, Katharagama pilgrimage site, Ranminitenna Tele cinema village. The resort is equipped with 15 cottages and 22 rooms with a scenic view of the Kodigahawewa Lake and the beautiful mountain view. Experience the wilderness with tranquility and get close to nature in the serene atmosphere at Kodigahawewa Forest Resort. Facilities are comfortable rooms with A/C, TV, Wi-Fi, mini bar, Swimming Pool, and telephone facilities with IDD 24 hour room service, etc. Bird watching, BBQ actions, camping, photography, cycling, fishing, wildlife safari, etc.
