South Korean cuisine is an acquired taste. Just like BTS isn't everybody's cup of tea (or should we say a shot of Soju? ), Korean cuisine is not for the bland palettes. That's for sure.
Especially kimchi, or in other words spicy, fermented cabbage. It doesn't sound very exciting, but you have to get the taste to be the judge of it.
Korean foods are known to be high in spices, especially authentic dishes.
And if you want to find Korean fusion food, it is also possible here in the heart of Colombo without needing to visit Seoul.
Especially the Korean BBQs are a dish you would want to try out.
