Qualification

External

a) Having passed the G.C.E.(O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects in one sitting with credit Passes for four (04) subjects including.

i. Sinhala/Tamil

ii. Mathematics And

b) Having passed three (03) subjects (other than the General paper) at G.C.E.A/L (new) syllabus) examination / Having passed four (04) subjects at the G.C.E.(A/L) (old syllabus) examination.

c) Knowledge in word processing will be an added advantage

Internal

a) Having passed the G.C.E.(O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects with credit Passes four (04) subjects including. i. Sinhala/Tamil ii. Mathematics

With

b) Having completed a minimum of 05 years satisfactory service in a permanent post under the employee’s categories of primary level – skilled and primary level – unskilled.

Age Limit

Should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years 

Salary Scale

Rs. 46,220/-, 540/-x10 ,630/-X7, 1080/-X12, 1,280/-X12 – 87,710/-

Basic Salary Rs.40,403/- as at 2025.01.01 as per MSD Circular 01/2025 

Method of Recruitment

By a competitive written examination and/or a structured interview conducted by the Council General Requirements For the applicant

• Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka

• should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post

• And to serve in any part of the country

• Should be of good moral character
